Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 - Tuesday: Cairo (no meals)
Welcome to Egypt! Meet and assist from Cairo Airport, transfer and check into your hotel. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 2 - Wednesday: Cairo (B)
This morning we travel to the last remaining member of the Seven Wonders of the World � The Giza Pyramids. Situated west of the Nile, bordering on the Sahara desert, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, The Pyramid of Khafre, The Pyramid of Menkaure and The Great Sphinx are considered the world most significant sights. We continue onto Memphis, the ancient Capital City of Egypt.
Lastly, we travel to Sakkara, which is the necropolis of Memphis and where you will find the first pyramid ever built - The Step Pyramid of Zoser. Return back to your hotel for a free evening. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 3 - Thursday: Cairo (B)
We begin our tour today at the Egyptian Museum where the world's largest collection of monuments, mummies and daily artifacts of Ancient Egypt lie, including the famous mask and treasures of King Tutankhamen.
We then continue our tour to old Cairo visiting the Citadel (containing the Mosque of Muhammad Ali), the World Heritage Listed Coptic Area including Al-Muallaka (the Hanging Church built on the walls of a Roman Fort), The Church of St Sergius and finally The Ben Ezra Synagogue (the oldest Jewish Temple in Egypt built after the fall of Jerusalem in 70AD). Later this afternoon we visit the Khan Khalili Bazaar. Overnight at your Hotel.
(This evening you have the option of enjoying the famous Sound and Light Show or a Cruise Boat Dinner and Belly Dancing Show).
Day 4 - Friday: Cairo - Aswan - Lake Cruise (B) (L) (D)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Arrive and transfer to your Deluxe Lake Cruise boat and enjoy lunch. This afternoon visit the Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 5 - Saturday: Lake Cruise (B) (L) (D)
Begin sailing today passing the Tropic of Cancer Sailing to Wadi El Seboua. Enjoy cocktails while passing the Tropic of Cancer. After Lunch visit to Wadi El Seboua temple, the temple of Dakka and temple of Meharakka. Continue sailing to Amada. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 6 - Sunday: Lake Cruise - Abu Simbel (B) (L) (D)
Morning visit to the temples of Amada and Derr as well as the tomb of Penout. Continue sailing towards Kasr Ibrim. Your tour will be conducted from the ship's sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Continue sailing to Abu Simbel. After lunch you will enjoy a guided tour of the Famous Rock Cut temple of Abu Simbel. This evening your dinner will be served on deck by candlelight. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 7 - Monday: Abu Simbel - Aswan - Nile Cruise (B) (L) (D)
Those who would like to watch the spectacular sunrise at Abu Simbel you may enjoy an early morning visit to the temples (entrance ticket is not included).
Disembark the Cruise after breakfast and transfer to the Abu Simbel airport for your flight to Aswan. Arrive to Aswan and then transfer to your Nile Cruise Boat and enjoy lunch. Your afternoon tour starts at the High Dam and its huge lake then take a short ferry ride to the Romantic and Majestic Philae Temple. Lastly you will enjoy an excursion on a traditional felucca to view Elephantine and Kitchener Island�s. Tonight you can explore the many bazaars and small streets of Aswan. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 8 - Tuesday: Nile Cruise (B) (L) (D)
After enjoying your breakfast while cruising down the Nile, visit the Greco Roman Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to the two gods Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Continue sailing to visit Edfu Temple - the best-preserved and second largest Temple in Egypt. Continue sailing towards Luxor. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 9 - Wednesday: Nile Cruise - Luxor (B) (L) (D)
Free morning. Your afternoon tour is to the East Bank of Luxor. Entry is down the avenue of Ram Headed Sphinx to reach the Monumental Temple of Karnak and then continue onto Luxor Temple. A free evening to enjoy this vibrant and fascinating city. Overnight Cruise Boat.
Day 10 - Tuesday: Luxor - Cairo (B) (D)
Disembark the Nile Cruise after breakfast and commence your tour. Cross over to the West Bank of Luxor where the Valley of the Kings & Queens, Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon awaits you. The afternoon is free to relax or for the energetic perhaps take a visit to the Luxor Museum. Tonight we board the overnight sleeper train back to Cairo. Overnight Sleeper Train.
Day 11 - Friday: Cairo (B)
Arrive to Cairo and check into your hotel to freshen up.
